FLAVORS OF MADISON

MADISON, Wisconsin, April 4, 2013 – Taste local fare from over twenty of Madison’s finest independently owned restaurants at the Madison Originals event Flavors of Madison on Sunday, April 21st from 5:00pm – 7:30pm hosted in the grand ballroom of the landmark independent hotel, The Madison Concourse.
Meet and mingle with the owners and chefs of Madison Originals restaurants, who are committed to sustaining the Madison area dining scene. At Flavors of Madison, you will sample a delicious variety of dishes, over 36 signature items served from over twenty restaurants. “Flavors is an exciting foodie and community event. From seafood to sweets, all guests will find a favorite flavor to enjoy. We are proud to showcase local restaurants,” states Dave Heide owner and Chef of Liliana’s Restaurant, who also serves as the President of Madison Originals.
A portion of 2013 ticket proceeds will fund two Madison College Culinary Scholarships. President Dave Heide states “I’m honored to be part of an organization which supports the students that feed the local restaurant community and funds the scholarships.”
With purchase of a ticket to the event, attendees will also receive a $10 gift certificate to be used at Madison Originals participating restaurants. Guests will enjoy live Bluegrass music by the Briarpickers in the ballroom. There will be door prizes all night including merchandise and gift certificates.
Tickets are limited. “If you enjoy great local food, get your tickets soon, last year’s Flavors of Madison sold out,” warns Heide. Indulge and feast at over twenty restaurants at one unforgettable event with the many wonderful and diverse “Flavors of Madison”.

Please note: Alcohol will be available, which makes this a 21 and older event, minors are welcome with supervision of a parent or guardian with same price ticket. The $10 Gift Certificate is valid April 21, 2013-May 21, 2013. One certificate redeemed per table, per visit. Certificates are not redeemable for cash and certificates have no cash value.
